Privacy policy

Tipat Dam is a volunteer app that helps you find a blood donation session and book it on MDA’s official site. It has no user accounts, and we have no server that receives your details.

What is stored, and where

• Your appointments (place, date, time and status) and your last donation date are stored only on your device.
• Your settings (language, date filter) are also stored only on your device.
• Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

What the app never reads

• You book on MDA’s site, which opens inside the app. You identify yourself to MDA only.
• The app never reads or stores ID numbers, phone numbers, birth dates or SMS codes.
• From MDA’s site the app reads only the appointment time, the appointment status, and MDA’s confirmation that it was booked or cancelled, so it can save it for you.

Location

• If you allow location access, it’s used only on your device to show nearby places. We never receive or store it.

Other services

• MDA’s booking site (bd.mda.org.il) is covered by MDA’s own privacy policy.
• The maps in the app and on this website are shown with Google Maps, under Google’s privacy policy.
• Downloads and updates come from the app stores (Google Play, App Store), under their policies.

Anonymous usage counters

The app doesn’t send any usage counters right now. If we add some, they will be anonymous, with no personal identifier and no appointment details, and we’ll list them here before that version ships.
